John Thomas Kerwin was October 3, 1938 in Chicago to Sylvester J. and Cecile (nee Butler) Kerwin. He died November 14, 2008 at his home.
Mr. Kerwin is survived by his children Karen (James) DeZellar of Arlington Heights, Julie (Gerald) Thiele of Oshkosh, WI and Catie (Justin) Cassity of Clarendon Hills; his grandchildren Jack , Bridget, Gerry, Ryan, Erin and Andrew and Ean; his mother, Cecile B. Kerwin; his siblings Kathleen (William) Steber, Sylvester (Catherine) and Margaret Kerwin; his brother in law James (late Patricia) Colloton and Alyce Jean (late Jack) Pettigrew and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by his wife Barbara B. (nee Burke) Kerwin, whom he married April 27, 1963; his father, Sylvester J. Kerwin and by his brother Richard (Trudy) Kerwin.
Visitation from 3 until 9 PM, Monday, November 17, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 AM, Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 450 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM. Burial at All Saints Cemetery.
