Alice Mae Roth was born on November 9, 1917 in Chicago to Edwin and Mae (nee Dixon) Halls. She passed away on November 13, 2008 in Arlington Heights.
Alice was a Navy WAVE serving during WWII. She was an active card player at Luther Village.
She is survived by her sons, Robert (Partner Richard Moreau) Roth of San Francisco, CA, Steven (Lois) Roth of Tucson, AZ and James (Tara) Roth of Seattle, WA; and her grandchildren, Heather and Tristan Cooper-Roth and Eliot Roth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond M. Roth; her sister, Ruth Fifield and her brother, Edwin Halls.
Visitation 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, November 16, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 10:00 AM, Monday, November 17, 2008 at the funeral home. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lutheran Home and Services, 800 W. Oakton St., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
