Thomas E. McClellan
Of Streamwood

Thomas E. McClellan was born on January 3, 1946 in Chicago to Charles and Doris (nee White) McClellan. He passed away on November 23, 2007 in Hoffman Estates.

Mr. McClellan received his B.A. and Masters degrees from Miami University, Ohio and his J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, IIT. He was a prominent attorney in Arlington Heights with the firm of Drost, Kivlahan, McMahon and O’Connor, Ltd. He coached basketball at the Schaumburg Athletic Association for 8 years and was the commissioner for two years. He was also active in the Palatine Lion’s Club.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kay (nee Holsapple) whom he married on June 26, 1971 in Springfield, Ohio, his son, Ian, his mother, Doris, his sisters, Linda (Craig) Wilson of Lakewood, CO and Gail (Alan) Bartz of Missouri City, TX and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2007 from 4:00 PM until time of Memorial Service at 7:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment will be private.
