Diane L. Almaraz was born on September 3, 1936 in Chicago to Myron and Louise (nee Kelly) Hammond. She passed away on November 6, 2007 in Buffalo Grove.

She is survived by her children, of Lawrence Kiwaczyk and Karen (Laura Valenziano) Kiwaczyk, her grandchildren, Randi Kiwaczyk, Courtney Schrimpf and Michael Adamaitis, her brother, James (Shirley) Hammond, her aunt, Lill Mikulski and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Nick Almaraz.

Visitation 3-9 PM Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayer service 11:30 AM Friday, Novembere 9, 2007 at the funeral home. Interment private.
