Loretta A. Drazba (nee O’Neill), age 75, formerly of Arlington Heights, was born on July 15, 1931 in Chicago to James and Della T. (nee Moore) O’Neill. She died Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Loretta was a devoted wife, loving mother, adoring grandmother, loyal friend, keeper of all family traditions and a terrific homemaker. Known for singing, dancing and her jokes, she was also a competitive bridge player. Loretta was devoted to her faith at St. Mary’s and St. Agnes Churches as a Eucharistic Minister.

Mrs. Drazba is survived by her husband of 53 years, John “Jack” W. Drazba, whom she married on July 11, 1953 in Chicago; her children, Cathy (Tom) Zdeblick of Madison, WI, Marty (Shirley) Drazba of Arlington Heights, Tim Drazba of Chicago and Bob (Melissa) Drazba of Bartlett; her grandchildren, Andrew, John, Madeline, Daniel, Karen, Joe and Kevin; and her sister, Marion “Pat” O’Neill of Palos Heights.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Julie; and her brother, James O’Neill.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM, Saturday, December 2, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Mary Catholic Church 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment, All Saints Cemetery.
