Ralph F. Nebel
Of Rolling Meadows

Ralph F. Nebel was born on October 20, 1915 in Schaumburg to Albert and Martha (nee Popp). He died Friday, November 24, 2006 in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Nebel served with the United States Army during WWII. He was a member of the Arlington Heights VFW. Ralph was employed as an insurance adjuster for State Farm for over 35 years. After his retirement, he worked for Suburban Trim and Glass for 20 years. He was a former elder and usher at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Ralph also enjoyed sports and he loved to play cards, eating, and visiting with family and friends.

He is survived by his children, Gary (Colleen) Nebel and Sandy Nelson both of Rolling Meadows; his grandchildren, Bret Nelson, Jeffrey Nebel, Kristy (Michael) Todaro and Joseph Nebel; his great-grandson, Nicholas Todaro; his brothers, Norman and Harold (June) Nebel, both of Arlington Heights; and many nieces and nephews.

Ralph is preceded in death by his wife, Marion (nee Fell), whom he married on July 26, 1947 in Beloit, WI; and his parents.

Visitation 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Monday, November 27, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd.,(four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and from 10:00 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive St., Arlington Heights. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to a favorite charity.
