Eileen Evans

Eileen Evans, recently of Huntley, was born on September 19, 1931 in Chicago to Patrick and Charlotte (nee McCann) Mannion. She died Sunday, November 19, 2006 at Centregra Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry.

Eileen retired in 1993 from the United Auto Workers, after 15 years of service.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her children, Georgeann (Michael) McGarry and Marianne Evans; grandchildren, William, Andrew, Katherine, and Daniel; her siblings, Thomas (Marjorie) Mannion, Patricia Rassilyer and Maureen (John) Ramsey; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her three sisters and three brothers.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Little Sisters of the Poor, 80 W. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL 60067.
