Charles Chipman “Chip” White, Jr. was born on July 11, 1943 in Upper Darby, PA to Charles C., Sr. and Norma (nee McIlhenny) White. He died November 17, 2006 in Chicago.

Chip enjoyed spending time with his family and listening to music.

He is survived by his wife, Betty (nee Hegarty), whom he married on August 14, 1965 in Lansdowne, PA; his daughter, Erin (Christopher) Newman of Chicago; granddaughter Patricia; sister, Frances (Eugene) Voegtlin of Hightstown, NJ; niece, Norma (Steven) Schultz; nephew Eugene (Betsy) Voegtlin, Jr.; and many loving relatives in County Cork, Ireland.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights for Mass at 11:30 A.M. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
