Anne B. Skiba was born on June 23, 1920 in Chicago to Andrew and Angelina (nee Gasior) Bochnik. She died Wednesday, November 15, 2006 in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Skiba is survived by her husband, Joseph W., whom she married on April 25, 1942 in Chicago; her children, Barbara (Al) Schladt of Arlington Heights, Tom (Eileen) Skiba of Arlington Heights, Joanne (Kriss) Andrews of Novi, MI, Betsy (Mike) Dougherty of Burnsville, MN and Steve Skiba of Elgin, MN; her grandchildren, Greg, Diane, Sue, Amy, Tim, Kate, Karen, Anne, Mark, Matt, Michelle, John, Peter and Beth; her great-granddaughters, Emily, Olivia, Allison and Natalie; her siblings, Helen Kuklinski and Bernice and Henry Bochnik; and many nieces and nephews.

Anne is preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Eleanor Strzalka and Vicki and Chester Bochnik.

Visitation from 3:00 PM until 8:00, Sunday, November 19, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 AM, Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights for Mass at 9:30 AM. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine.
