John J. Skowron
Of Arlington Heights

John J. Skowron was born on September 20, 1931 in Chicago to Frank and Agatha (nee Job) Skowron. He died Wednesday, November 8, 2006.

Mr. Skowron served with the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a quality control inspector with ITW for over 20 years and later with Buhrke Industries for the past 12 years. John played with a Senior Classic Traveling Softball League and he was an avid bowler and golfer.

He is survived by his wife Helen S. (nee Kretowicz) Skowron, whom he married on April 29, 1956 in Chicago; his sons John G. (Linda) Skowron of Arlington Heights and Jim R. (Darlene) Skowron of Elk Grove Village; and his siblings Frank (Lucille) and Joe Skowron and Loretta Wardzala.

John is preceded in death by his parents.

Prayers 9:15 AM, Saturday, November 11, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 A.M. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
