Joseph Mulvaney

Joseph Mulvaney was born March 11, 1937in Chicago to Robert and Mary Louise (nee Gallagher) Mulvaney. He died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Before retiring in 1996, Mr. Mulvaney was employed by Jewel Foods for over 35 years. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was a 3Rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus University Council #1687 in Chicago.

Joseph is survived by his wife Carol Nee Lescher whom he married July 23, 2005; his daughters Jean (Christian) Soellner of Knittlefeld, Austria and Barbara (Brian) Carroll of Chicago; his step children James (Lynn) Snyder, Bethany Snyder and Laura Snyder; his grandchildren Michael and Dennis Soellner; Matthew, Joseph and Samantha Carroll, Melinda, Justin, Zachary and Kyle Snyder; and his brothers Robert (Mary Jane) and James (Anne) Mulvaney

He was preceded in death by his first wife Catherine and his parents.

Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM Thursday, November 9, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Friday, November 10, 2006 at St. Edna Catholic Church 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
