E. Jerome Maas
Of Arlington Heights

E. Jerome Maas was born June 10, 1941 in Chicago to Edward John and Mary Lou (nee Grogan). He passed away November 19, 2005, at his home in Arlington Heights.

Dr. Maas was a professor of Chemistry and Business Law at Oakton Community College for 30 years, retiring in 2002.

E. Jerome is survived by his wife Peggy (nee Kenney), whom he married on January 18, 1964 in Chicago; his children Maryann (Greg Graham) Maas of Palatine, Edward J. (Paula K.) Maas of Holland, MI and David R. (Jill A.) Maas of Palatine; his grandchildren Eddie Graham, Kyle, Jenna, Derek, and Kevin Maas; and his brothers, Gregory (Jan) Maas and Neil (Sandra) Maas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Geoffrey.

Visitation Monday, November 21, 2005 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers will be held 9:15 AM Tuesday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., proceeding to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM.
