Dick L. Sutherland

Dick L. Sutherland was born November 7, 1927 to Burton and Irma (nee Kline) in South Bend, IN. He died November 13, 2005 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mr. Sutherland retired in 1988, after 40 years with Honeywell. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite member of the AF & AM Louisville, KY Lodge.

Dick is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia (nee Holmes), whom he married on May 10th, 1952 in South Bend, IN; his children, Beth Sutherland of Arlington Heights, Scott (Rose) Sutherland of Mount Prospect, and Sheri (Randy) Hess of Arlington Heights; his grandchildren, Jenny and Amy Sutherland, and Lauren, Dani, and Andy Hess, his sister, Jo Ann (Bob) Lerch of South Bend, IN; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Dick is preceded by his parents and his brother Burt.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 17, 2005 at 12:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Visitation Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Greater Illinois Chapter 910 West Van Buren, Fourth Floor
