Jack Arthur Hauber

Of Buffalo Grove

Jack Arthur Hauber was born August 11, 1927 in Chicago and is the son of Louis F. and Lillian M. (nee Jacobsen) Hauber.  He passed away Friday, November 4, 2005 at his home in Buffalo Grove.

Jack was a veteran of both World War II and the Korean War, serving with the Navy, Air Force and Army.  He was a retired Cook County Sheriff’s Police Officer.  He had many interests including Fishing, reading and model HO trains

Jack is survived by his wife, Betty Lou (nee Hianyik), whom he married May 15, 1954 in Chicago; his children Pamela Anne (William) Chapman of Hanover Park, Cynthia Anne (Robert) Puoci of Schaumburg, Cheryl Anne Hauber of Hainesville, John Kevin (Kimberly) Hauber of McHenry and James Patrick (Susan) Hauber of Island Lake; grandchildren Brittany and Adam Chapman, Robert, Jacqueline, Anthony and Alexander Puoci, Jack Hauber and Kaitlyn Hauber.

Visitation Monday, November 7,2005 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd.  Prayers will be held Tuesday at 9:15  AM,, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights to St. Mary Catholic Church 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove for Mass at 10:00 AM.
