Betty J. Schmidt was born August 31, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan to Florence Busby, she passed away Monday, November 29, 2004 at her home in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Schmidt worked with the Cook County Board of Elections for over 15 years.

Betty is survived by her children Tony and Bob Franchina and Christine Schmidt; as well as her grandchild Phillip Iglesias.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment will be Thursday, 11:00 AM at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
