Daniel James Cassidy
Of Arlington Heights

Daniel James Cassidy was born December 3, 1970 in Evanston to James Mark Cassidy and Bonnie M. nee Bercker. He died Saturday, November 27, 2004 at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

Mr. Cassidy was the executive vice president of Cassidy Brothers Inc., a major interior contractor in the Chicagoland area. He completed projects including the Sears Tower, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Peninsula Hotel, Park Hyatt Hotel and the 65 story Park Tower Condominiums. Daniel is also the current vice president of the Gypsum Drywall Contractors of Northern Illinois and on the Board of Directors of the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industries International.

His survivors include his wife Zari nee Paparigian, whom he married October 17, 1998; his daughter Jessica Marie, his son Michael James; his mother Bonnie M. (James W.) Roberts, his father James Mark (Patricia) Cassidy; his sisters Micaela (Rusty) Sweet and Elizabeth Ann (Darnell) Nabors; his grandmother Mary E. Cassidy; fond uncle, brother-in-law and stepbrother to many.

Visitation Monday, November 29, 2004 from 3:00 until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers will be held 9:45 AM, Tuesday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., proceeding to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Journeys from PADS to HOPE, 1140 E. Northwest Hwy. Palatine, IL 60074.
