Miriam "Bunny" Maier McCafferty
Of Arlington Heights, formerly of Elmhurst

Miriam was born March 24, 1929 in Oak Park, Illinois to Walter L. and Merrie nee Mitchell Maier, she passed away Friday, November 19, 2004 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center

"Bunny" worked as the office manager with McCafferty Lumber in Elmhurst.

Miriam is survived by her children Peter (Mary Lynn) McCafferty of Wheaton and Claire (Timothy) Blaha of Arlington Heights; grandchildren Michael, Kevin, and Kristin McCafferty and Weston, Erin, and Jackie Blaha; sister Susan (Robert) Schemmel and brother Joseph (Colleen) Maier; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Miriam was preceded in death by her husband Jerome P. McCafferty, whom she married September 16, 1950 in Oak Park, Illinois; her sister Patricia Miller and brother Frank Maier.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday, 9:30 AM at Our Lady of the Wayside Church, 440 S. Mitchell, Arlington Heights. Burial will be private.
