Carol M. Scharlau
Of Arlington Heights

Carol M. Scharlau was born November 29, 1903 in Chicago to Louis and Josephine (nee Fisher) Geyer. She died Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at Plum Grove Nursing Home in Palatine.

Before she retired Mrs. Scharlau was a bookkeeper for Hasmer Brothers Casket Co., in Chicago.

Her survivors include her daughter Nora (Edward) Peters of Arlington Heights; her granddaughter Susan (James) Somers, four great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Carol is preceded in death by her husband Joseph and her son Joseph Scharlau, Jr.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Friday, November 12, 2004 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Visitation Friday from 9:00 AM until time of service at 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
