Josephine "Guiseppina" Tsikretsis
Of  Mount Prospect

Josephine "Guiseppina" Tsikretsis (nee Castaldo) a 14 year resident of Mt. Prospect, formerly of Forest Park was born October 2, 1925 in Chicago, the daughter of Gaetano and Maria (nee Maietta) Castaldo. She passed away suddenly Friday November 5, 2004 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Nicholas James Tsikretsis whom she married April 19, 1944 in Vallejo, CA; loving mother of Mary Dena (Edward) Mitchell of Prospect Heights, Jeanette (Kevin) Benfield of Hinsdale, Nicholas (Charmaine) Tsikretsis Jr., of Arlington Heights, and Joseph (Jenine) Tsikretsis of Park Ridge; beloved grandmother of Paul, Nicole, James, Cherish, Kevin, Brent, Jeana, David, the late Gina, Nicholas III, Matthew, Adam, Arin, and Lia; loving great grandmother of 11; dear sister of the late Gennaro (Ann) Castaldo, Christina (the late Nicholas) Giancana, the late Carmella (James) Marzullo, Bettina (Joseph) Briskey, the late Gaetano (Joyce) Castaldo, Jr., and Antoinette ( Carmen) Caporale

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, Nov. 8 at the Elmhurst Seventh-Day Adventist Church 246 Butterfield Rd. in Elmhurst. Family and friends are asked to meet at the Church on Monday. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery., Arlington Heights. Visitation Sunday Nov. 7 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., ( 4 Blocks south of Palatine Rd.)
