Frances B. Hefner
Of Plattsmouth, Nebraska

Frances B. Hefner was born May 28, 1916 in Chicago, to Percy and Clara (nee Danforth) Brubaker. She died peacefully Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at Alegent Midlands Community Hospital in Plattsmouth, Nebraska where she most recently resided. Prior to that she lived in Arlington Heights and in later life enjoyed her summer residence in Lauderdale Lakes, Wisconsin.

Frances was a homemaker. She was a former member of the Arlington Heights Women's Club and enjoyed outings sponsored by the Arlington Heights Senior Center

Her survivors include her children Col. Ronald (Brooke) Hefner, Ret. USAF of Plattsmouth and Leslie (Michael) Miljan of Arlington Heights; her grandchildren Kyle, and Regan Hefner, Kristen, Jeffrey and Mark Miljan; her sister Lee Clark.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband Jean, her parents, her sister Katherine Baumgardner and her brothers-in-law Norman Hefner, John Clark and Howard Baumgardner.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 30, 2004 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Visitation Friday, October 29, 2004 from 3:00 until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Entombment will be at Memory Gardens Mausoleum in Arlington Heights.
