Lottie Borgardt was born December 2, 1919 in Berlin, Germany to Karl and Elsbeth Ladewig. She died October 28, 2012 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights.

Lottie immigrated to the United States when she was 4 years old. After marrying David, they moved to Arlington Heights to operate a Sinclair gas station and later built the Pines Motel, which they operated for 30 years until their retirement when they moved to Prospect Heights. Lottie was an avid golfer and bowler and lived independently up until her passing. She was an active member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights.

Lottie is survived by her daughter Kathleen (Dale) Anderson.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, David Borgardt and by her brother Eric Ladewig.

Interment services will be private.
