Catherine L. Stahlmann

Catherine L. Stahlmann was born on June 19, 1914 in Chicago, to Robert and Rebe (nee Halstead) Schlosser. She passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 in Arlington Heights.

Catherine was a long time employee in the insurance industry and was a writer of over 30 children’s books, including “Bunny Blue.” She was a resident of The Moorings of Arlington Heights where she was on the staff of the newsletter, “The Anchor” for many years.

Catherine is survived by her daughter, Hope (John) McFadden; her grandchildren, Kate (Mary Meraw) McFadden and Tim (Rebecca) McFadden; her great grandchildren, Megan McFadden, Clare Meraw and Declan McFadden; and her sister, Bertha Hren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Stahlmann and her parents.

Visitation Friday, October 26, 2012 from 9:00 am until the time of services at 10:00 am at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1234 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church.
