Bernadine J. Walsh was born on November 23, 1942 in Chicago. She passed away Monday, October 15, 2012.

Bernadine is survived by her spouse of 40 years, Michael A. Walsh Sr., her sons, Michael A. (Tracey) Walsh Jr. and Eric P. (Greta) Walsh; her brother, Jim (Gail) Russo Jr.; and many beloved family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Russo Sr. and her mother, Jean Russo.

Mrs. Walsh was the smiling face at the front desk of the Prospect Heights Park District for 15 years where she made thousands of dear friends. She was also named Prospect Heights “Citizen of the Year” in 1997.

Visitation Friday, October 19, 2012 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Funeral Mass 10:00 AM Saturday, October 20, 2012 at St. Alphonsus Ligouri Catholic Church, 411 N. Wheeling Rd., Prospect Hts. Interment is at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
