William R. Iversen

William R. Iversen, 79, of Prospect Heights. Bill served in the Navy for four years and was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was a proud member of the Cement Masons Union Local 502 for 56 years. Beloved husband of Nancy C. (nee Splitt) Iversen; loving father of Laura L. (Richard A.) Sicilian, Lee Ann Iversen, William M. Iversen; cherished grandfather of Misty, Nicole, Michael, Natalia, Nancy, Paul, William D. and Brian M.; great grandfather of Samantha and Hailey.

Funeral Service 11 AM, Thursday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive Street, Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Visitation Wednesday from 3 until 9 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights and at church from 10 AM until time of service. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. Peters Lutheran Church (memo: South African Scholarship Fund).
