Eva M. Hofmann was born on September 11, 1946 in Eichstaett, Germany to Matthias Zimmerman and Maria (nee Rumpler) Melter. She died October 10, 2012 in Palatine.

Eva is survived by her spouse, Hans Hofmann; her children, Hans (Sheryl) Hofmann, Jr., Michael (Tiffany) Hofmann, Christa (Kurt) Pedersen, Andreas Hofmann, and Julie (Daniel) Berry; and her grandchildren, Jeremy, Hannah, Kaleb, Piper, Karsten, and Sawyer; and her sister, Valerie (Fritz) Kaiser.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Karl Melter, and her sister, Martha Ruby.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Funeral Service 10:00 am, Monday, October 15, 2012 at Harvest Bible Chapel, 800 Rohlwing Rd., Rolling Meadows. Burial at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
