Barbara A. Friedrichs was born on October 1, 1918 in Glenview, Illinois to John and Barbara (nee Schmidt) Funk. She died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Addolorata Villa, Wheeling.

Mrs. Friedrichs was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children Michael (Cheryl) Friedrichs, Frances (Andrew) Andersen David (Patricia) Friedrichs and Lawrence (Margaret) Friedrichs; her nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; her sister-in-law Dolores Funk; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Earl; her parents; and her two brothers and five sisters.

Visitation 9:00 am until time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM, Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Addolorata Villa, 555 McHenry Road, Wheeling, IL 60090. Interment All Saints Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Addolorata Villa Foundation.
