Arthur G. Glafcke, 90, formerly of Prospect Heights, beloved husband of the late Loretta; loving father of Cathy (Jeff) Olsen, Tom (Linda) Glafcke, Peggy (the late Robert) Garzonetti and Patty (Terry) Rajala; loved grandfather of Paulette Mangione, Michelle (Pat) Sakolari, Andrew Glafcke, Matt (Katie) Glafcke and Rebecca Rajala; dear great-grandfather of 11. Also preceded in death by grandsons, Michael and Daniel; brothers, Frank and Henry; and sisters, Marge and Evelyn.

Arthur was a proud Marine who served during WWII. He was a past Commander of AMVETS Ted Knusman Post.

Visitation 3:00 until 9:00 PM Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:15 AM Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the funeral home to St. Alphonsus Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights for Mass at 10 AM. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, the National Parkinson’s Foundation or to AMVETS.
