Susan M. Dunn was born on September 25, 1952 in Chicago to John and Alice (nee Schmidt) Hardy. She died Thursday, October 4, 2012 in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Dunn worked as a Realtor for Century 21 R.D. Fulk and Associates, Inc. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights where she was a member of the 8:30 AM Gallery Choir, a P.A.D.S. Program Volunteer, a member of the Parish Council, and a member of the Women's Club Steering Committee and Scholarship Program. Susan was an avid reader, gardener, and loved to socialize. She was a member of the Doll House Divas where she was completing a one inch scale representation of her own home, and a volunteer for the Northwest Suburban Cultural Council in Palatine. She will also dearly miss her Wednesday Group-friends for thirty years. She was a graduate of Glenbrook North High School and North Park University. Susan loved her family and was loved by all.

Susan is survived by her spouse of 36 years, William Dunn, whom she married October 9, 1976 in Northbrook; her siblings, Michael (Linda) Hardy, John (Gretchen) Hardy, Joan (Richard) Niemi, and Steven (Loretta) Hardy; her many nieces and nephews; and her sister-in-law, Patricia Matkov.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation is from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd. (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Prayers Friday, October 12, 2012 at 10:15 AM from Glueckert Funeral Home to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment is at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove.
