Lucy McGrath was born December 10, 1929 in Arlington Heights to Wilferd and Anna (nee Schaeffer) Donlea. She died September 30, 2012, in her home, surrounded by her family.

Lucy spent her entire life in Arlington Heights. She was dedicated to her family and faith.

Lucy is survived by her children Janet (Jerry Sauve) McGrath, Tim (Nancy), Patrick (Gretchen), Sharon (late Pat) McEntee, Lisa (Thomas) Lauren, Eileen (Larry) Grabowski, Daniel (Marie), John (Jennifer); her grandchildren Marcy, Douglas, Tim, Pierce, Michael, Lucy, Emily, Anna, Tom, Dana, Amy, Nicholas, Michael, Caitlin, Megan, Katie, Erin, Sarah and Mary; her great grandchildren Owen, Wyatt, Quincy, Gray, Ty, Kyle, Zane, Gracia, Colin, Mikaela.

Lucy is preceded in death by her daughter Teresa McGrath and by her parents.

A memorial Mass will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 5, 2012 at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights. Interment Private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Lucy’s name to Winning Wheels Inc., 701 East Third Street, Prophetstown, IL 61277.
