Of Arlington Heights
Garwin Rodgers Dawley was born July 27, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI to Myron R. and Ruth V. (nee Pflanz) Dawley. He died October 22, 2011 at the Arden Courts in Elk Grove Village.
Garwin worked in the marketing departments for Pure Oil Company., Charles Bruning and Motorola from which he retired after 25 years of service. Throughout his carrier, Garwin earned many awards from the companies that he worked for.
Mr. Dawley is survived by his wife Helen (nee Genis) Dawley, whom he married November 15, 1952 in Cicero, IL; his son Michael C. (Carol Hauss) Dawley and his siblings Jean R. Scrymiger and Bruce D. Dawley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation Tuesday from 4 until 8 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Funeral service 11 AM, Wednesday, at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd. Interment Private.
