Richard J. Revor
Of Arlington Heights

Richard J. Revor was born on December 4, 1916 in Chicago, IL to Louis and Mary (nee Daray) Revor. He died Sunday, October 16, 2011 peacefully at home in Arlington Heights .

Richard worked as a Dean of Faculty for Devry University. He was a veteran of the Army in World War II for 4 1/2 years. He was a radar technician and was involved in making the first radar for the government. Mr. Revor was an author for several university textbooks used by Devry University.

Richard is survived by his spouse of 63 years, Florabelle J. (nee Eizenga) Revor; his grandson, Christopher (Holly) Davis; and his 2 Great-granddaughters, Rylee Judith, and Reese Emily Davis.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Judith Lynn (nee Revor) Davis; his parents; and his siblings, Sybil Revor and Russell L. Revor.

Visitation, Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 3:00pm until 9:00pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Prayers, Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 9:15am at Glueckert Funeral Home proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00am. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
