Of Arlington Heights
Robert C. Muench was born on April 22, 1963 in Elgin, Illinois to Robert and Florence (nee Alexander) Muench, then raised in Arlington Heights. He died Wednesday, October 12, 2011 in Arlington Heights.
Mr. Muench worked in the Forestry Department for Village of Palatine. He was a member of the Lutheran Laymen’s League at St. Peter Lutheran Church. He was a 1981 graduate of St. Viator High School and a 1985 graduate of Iowa State University.
Robert is survived by his wife Patricia (nee Soucy); his son Tyler Muench; his brother Dr. Gregory (Laurene) Muench and his sister Janice (Robert) Knecht; his step brother Frederick (Betsy) Mensch; his step sisters Sandra (Eric) Ruskoski and Linda (Larry) Carlson; his father Dr. Robert (Cecelia) Muench; his brother in law Michael (Jane) Soucy, sister in laws Mary Anne (Andrew) Schorn, Joan (Rev. Paul) Hopkins, Yvonne (Scott) Kristiansen and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Florence (nee Alexander) Muench and by his brother Dean Muench.
Visitation 3 PM until 8 PM, Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd.,(four blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights and Monday from 9 AM until the time of Funeral Service at 10 AM, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 W. Olive St., Arlington Heights. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
