Donna W. Drake
Of Arlington Heights
Donna W. Drake was born on June 16, 1924 in Loganville, Wisconsin to
Oscar and Agnes (nee Westenhaver)Wagner. She died Monday, October 3,
2011 at her home.
Mrs. Drake was a registered nurse for a pediatric office in Rockford
from 1945 until 1949, and a substitute RN for the Arlington Heights
Public School District. She was a member of the Nurses Club, the P.E.O.
Chapter FW, Salt Creek Questers, the Arlington Heights Historical
Society, the Arlington Heights Lending Closet, the Rotary-Anns of
Arlington Heights, the Book Club, and she helped to raise funds to build
the Northwest Community Hospital.
Donna is survived by her son William L. Drake of Arlington Heights, her
daughter Elizabeth M. Drake of Arlington Heights, IL; and her brother
Richard C. Wagner of Green Cane Springs, FL .
She was preceded in death by her Husband, James L. Drake; her parents;
and her sisters Betty Searle, Ruth Alexander and Ethyl Dixon.
Funeral Services pending.
