Robert A. Solger
Of Schaumburg; Formerly of Cary

Robert A. Solger was born on March 4, 1926 in Chicago to Otto and Marie (nee Fehlhaber) Solger. He passed away on October 28, 2010 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village.

Robert is survived by his children, Bob (Kris) Solger of Arlington Heights, Rick (Val) Solger of Cary, Cathy (Tom) Hoff of Schaumburg, Cindy (Terry) Gordon of Cary, Chris (Claude) Binder of Oak Park, Kurt Solger of Glendale Heights and Tom (Renee) Solger of Lake in the Hills; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy (Oswald) Solger.

Visitation from 3 until 8 PM, Sunday, October 31, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 8:45 AM, Monday, November 1, 2010 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Thomas the Apostle, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave. (176 and Oak), Crystal Lake, IL 60012 for Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial at Church of the Apostles Cemetery.
