Virginia Bielat was born August 17, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan to Francis and Helen (nee Wilczynska) Rudnicki. She passed away on Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Lutheran Home & Services in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Bielat worked as an Alterations Manager for Marshall Field & Company in Old Orchard for 30 years until her retirement.

She is survived by her son, Joseph (Patricia) Bielat; her nieces and nephews, Frances Cangelosi, Marie Bielat, John Rudnicki, and Carole Halpaus; and her 10 great-nieces and nephews and 10 great-great-nieces and nephews.

Virginia is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Bielat; her siblings, Frank and Eleanor Rudnicki; and her parents.

Visitation is from 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Mass10:00 AM, Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Lutheran Home & Service for the Aged, 800 W. Oakton, Arlington Heights. Burial is at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
