Services of Sylva A. Suchecki (nee Watkins), age 99, will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Christian Church of Arlington Heights, 333 W. Thomas St., Arlington Heights. Interment will be Private.

Sylva was born on February 27, 1911 in Bluffton, Ohio to George Robert and Agnes Marie (nee Jones) Watkins. She passed away on October 5, 2010 under Merit Hospice Care at Lexington Health Care in Lake Zurich.

She is survived by her children, Russell, Sylvia and Roberta; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Robert and Boyd.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Russell Lowell Shmerl and John Suchecki; her grandson, Michael; her parents; and four of her siblings.
