Edward C. Pertile
was born February
25, 1917 in Chicago
to Charles and
Antonette (nee Dal
Degan) Pertile . He
died Monday, October
19, 2009 at
Northwest Community
Hospital in
Arlington Heights.
Before retiring Mr.
Pertile was a sales
manager for
Montgomery Elevator
Company. He served
in the Army during
WW II.
Edward’s survivors
include his wife of
60 years Dorothy nee
Molnar; his children
Ellen (Tom) Steele
of Hilton Head
Island, South
Carolina, Chuck (Sheree)
Pertile of Arlington
Heights and Gerard
(Beth) Pertile of
Plainfield; his
son-in-law Steve
Changelon; eight
grandchildren; and
his sister Clara
McMullen.
He is preceded in
death by his
daughter Barbara
Changelon; his
grandson Christopher
Steele; his parents;
his sisters Ines and
Eleanor Pertile and
Ida Zordan and his
brother Gene Pertile..
Visitation from 9:00
AM until time of
prayers at 10:30 AM,
