Heights.
Franklin was
employed by Consoer,
Townsend Consulting
Engineers in Chicago
as a senior
associate of
Transportation from
1952 to 1993. He
served with the
United States Army
Air Force during
WWII. He was also a
member of the VFW
and the Elks Club.
He is survived by
his wife of 59
years, Barbara (nee
Aichele) Gerfy, his
daughters; Deborah
Lee Gerfy, Chicago,
IL and Linda Michele
Charlip , Chicago,
IL, his
granddaughter;
Ashley Marie
Halvorsen, his
sister; Dorothy
Ripple, Johnstown,
PA., and many nieces
and nephews.
Frank was preceded
in death by his
brother-in-law the
late Earl Ripple.
