Maureen Scaglione
Of Mt. Prospect

Maureen Scaglione was born on December 8, 1945 in Chicago to John and Anne (nee O’Connell) Callahan. She died on September 30, 2009, suddenly, at her home.

To our wife, mother, and grandmother: Your zest for life and travel was inspiring to all of us. Your generosity and support were overwhelming, never asking for anything in return. Every day, you filled our lives with humor, kind words, and thoughtful compliments. You taught us to live life to it’s fullest and we learned from your strength and compassion. Above all else, you loved us with all your heart. We love you very much and will miss you always.

She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Paul Scaglione; her sons, Michael (Maureen), Paul (Terri) and Steven Scaglione; her grandchildren, Annie, Tommy, Mike, Mary Grace, Ryan and Emily; her sisters, Judy Callahan and Margaret Ansbro; her niece, Linda (Dan) Dhooghe; and her nephew, Jim (Beth) Marino.

Maureen was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Tim (Valerie) Callahan; her sister-in-law, Angela Marino; and her brother-in-law, Jim Marino.
