Virginia L. Tokarczyk was born March 16, 1921 in Chicago to Leo and Frances (nee Jachim) Mindey. She died Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.
Mrs. Tokarczyk was employed as a secretary for Montgomery Ward in the Chicago Corporate office for 18 years before retiring in 1986.
Her survivors include her children Judith (Ken) Tomasiewicz of Arlington Heights and Andrew Tokarczyk of Oakbrook; her grandchildren David (Jennifer), Michael, Nancy (Jason), Elizabeth and Andrew; her great grandchildren Margaret, Sophie, Peyton and Cole; her sister Evelyn (Joseph) Kubeczko; and her brother-in-law Frank (Josephine) Tokarczyk.
Virginia preceded in death by her husband Bruno and her parents.
Visitation from 3:00 until 9:00 PM, Friday, October 31, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 10:15 AM, Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 11:00 AM.
