Edna A. Walker

Edna A. Walker was born on February 4, 1928 in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi to Clarence and Rosalie (nee Ladner) Saucier. She passed away on October 27, 2008 in Elk Grove Village.
Edna enjoyed gardening and was an avid quilter. She was active in the women’s club at St. Marcelline Church. She was a confidant to her grandchildren and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Edna is survived by her children, Cheryl (Philip) Castor of Kannapolis, NC, Candace (Lee) Cortese of Deer Park, Armar III (Marti) Walker of Redding, CA and Dean (Nancy) Walker of Schaumburg; her 13 grandchildren; her 7 great-grandchildren; her seven brothers and sisters; and her daughter-in-law, Sarah Walker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Armar Walker and her son, Timothy Walker.
Visitation Friday, October 31, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 10:30 AM Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Marcelline Church, 820 S. Springinsguth Rd., Schaumburg for Mass at 11:30 AM.
