Erica E. Rosenbaum was born January 17, 1980 to Donald Klima and Sharon nee Salberg. She died Tuesday October 21, 2008 in Highland Park.
Erica as an excellent teacher at Mark Twain School in Chicago, where she will be greatly missed by her co-workers and students. She is an alumnus of Illinois State University, and belonged to Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, obtained her Master’s Degree at Lewis University, graduated from Downers Grove High School and received high honors in all of her endeavors
She was an animal rights advocate and worked at PAWS in Chicago. Erica will be greatly missed by her co-workers, and the animals that she cared for. Her dogs Millie and Mia, who she rescued, will greatly miss her, as well. She will be loved and missed forever.
Her survivors include her loving husband Jon Rosenbaum of Highland Park; her loved parents Donald Klima of Chino Valley, AZ and Sharon Klima of Chicago; her beloved siblings Donna (Tyler) Hesh of Peoria, Autumn (Walter) Wisniewski of Oswego and Donald (Fran) Klima of Plainfield; her dear aunts and uncle Kim Angeletti, Linda Born and Albert (Nancy) Salberg. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who dearly loved her.
Visitation from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, Monday, October 27, 2008 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights and Tuesday, October 28, 2008 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to West Suburban Humane Society, 1901 Ogden Ave., Downers Grove, IL 60515.
