JoAnn Maria Croke

JoAnn Maria Croke was born August 15, 1946 in Newark, New Jersey to Joseph Malcolm and Elizabeth Ann (nee Bender) Savage. She died Monday, October 13, 2008 at her home in Wheeling.

Mrs. Croke attended Clarke School for the Deaf and graduated from Evanston High School. She was later employed with Washington National Insurance Co. JoAnn was a proud, devoted wife and mother who enjoyed gardening, computers and photography.

Her survivors include her husband John Peter Croke, Sr., whom she married August 25, 1973; her sons John Peter Croke, Jr. of Chicago and Ryan Joseph (Fiancée Brook DeMoisy) Croke of Springfield; her father; and her sister Wendy (Bill) Maxwell.

JoAnn is preceded in death by her mother.

Memorial Mass 10:00 AM, Friday, October 17, 2008 at St. Mary Catholic Church 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove.
