13, 2008 at her home
in Wheeling.
Mrs. Croke attended
Clarke School for
the Deaf and
graduated from
Evanston High
School. She was
later employed with
Washington National
Insurance Co. JoAnn
was a proud, devoted
wife and mother who
enjoyed gardening,
computers and
photography.
Her survivors
include her husband
John Peter Croke,
Sr., whom she
married August 25,
1973; her sons John
Peter Croke, Jr. of
Chicago and Ryan
Joseph (Fiancée
Brook DeMoisy) Croke
of Springfield; her
father; and her
sister Wendy (Bill)
Maxwell.
JoAnn is preceded in
death by her mother.
