Kenneth L. Clausen

Kenneth L. Clausen was born May 1, 1924 in Galesburg, IL to Paul and Hulda (nee Anderson) Clausen, he died October 3, 2008 in Glenview.

Mr. Clausen was a graduate of Wheaton College, he served as an Ensign in the U.S. Navy, he was active in Kiwanis Club and was a long time member of the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Lois (nee Lundeen), whom he married May 23, 1953 in Galesburg, IL; his children Julie (William) Davis, Mary Lou (Gary) Sander, Robert (Mary Kay) Clausen, Roger (Julie) Clausen and James (Lynette) Clausen; his grandchildren Kimberly, Jonathan, Lissa, Leslie, Leah, Skye, Jaime, Julia, Jenna, Anne, Beth, Chad, Will, Griffin and Barrett; his step grandchildren, Leigh, Jill, Greg and his step great grandson Jack.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his brother Paul, his parents and by his grandson Scott Clausen.

Memorial Visitation Monday October 6, 2008 from 4 until 8 PM at Engelbretson Chapel at Brandel Care Center at 2155 Pfingston Road in Northbrook. Memorial service will be 2 PM Tuesday October 7, 2008 at the Brandel Lounge in Covenant Village, 2155 Pfingsten Road in Northbrook. Interment Private.
