Joan Susan Green was born August 30, 1941 in Lynbrook, New York. She died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at her home.

Mrs. Green was the Business Manager for St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights before retiring. Formerly she was the head teller at the Bank and Trust Company and Vice President at Northpoint Bank.

Joan is survived by her husband Donald L. Green whom she married July 26, 1967; her children Barbara Green of Schaumburg, Debra (Burdette) Potts of Algonquin, Cathy Solger of Island Lake, Don (Patty) Green of Atlanta, Georgia, Mary (Robert) Weltmer of Yorba Linda, Calif., and Bill Green of Hainsville; her grandchildren Jim and Greg Rommel, Susie Imhoff, Stephanie Juneau, Andrew Solger, Niki Green, Marissa, Jaimee and Tim Weltmer; her great grandchildren Jimmy, Ashley and Maggie Rommel, Jacqueline Babicki, Bobby Romanowski and Nicholas Juneau; and her many relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Bill Schaffer.

Visitation from 1:00 until 8:00 PM, Sunday, November 4, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:00 AM, Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights for Mass at 10:00 AM. Burial at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
