Marie R. Golden was born on April 2, 1918 in Chicago to Louis and Rose (nee Straub) Hassler. She passed away on October 29, 2007 at Church Creek in Arlington Heights.

She is survived by her sons, James of Algonquin and Bill of Ellensburg, WA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James J., her sister, Irene Hassler, her brothers, Ray and Roy Hassler and her daughter in law, Ginger.
