James B. Sterrett
of McHenry formerly of Buffalo Grove

James B. Sterrett was born June 15, 1966 in Libertyville. He Died October 9, 2007 in McHenry.

James was a 1984 graduate of B.G.H.S., he was formerly self employed in construction and in home remodeling, currently he was the project manager for Icon Identity Solutions in Elk Grove Village. James was a former wrestler and enjoyed water skiing.

Survivors include his wife Shannon (nee) Mesick; his daughter Samantha Marie; his father Russell C. and step mom Betty; his siblings Robert (Linda) and William (Rhonda) Sterrett; Patricia (Thomas) Cripe and Thomas; his brother-in-law Kenneth (Sonia) Mogensen; his step sister Laura (Ed) Spore and step brother David (Janet) Jewell; his nieces and nephews Michael, Megan and Matthew Sterrett and Lauren, James and Matthew Cripe, John and Daniel Sterrett, Kyle, Jena and Jessica Mogensen; step nieces Katie, Jessica and Sarah Spore and step nephew David Jewell.

James is preceded in death by his sister Cynthia Mogensen, his mother Anne and by his niece Brittany.

Memorial Mass 10 AM Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove. Family will receive guests from 9 AM until the time of service. Interment private.
