Bruno J. Zabinski
Of Arlington Heights

Bruno J. Zabinski was born on June 25, 1918 in Gary, IN to John and Mary (nee Bialek) Zabinski. He passed away on October 1, 2007 in Arlington Heights.

A veteran of WWII, Bruno played with the Army Air Corp “Flying Band.” Before his retirement from the Chicago Public School system, he taught high school music and orchestra.

Bruno is survived by his children, Marcia (Larry) Behrens of Geneva, Jan (Katherine) Zabinski of Silverton, CO and Krista (Kenneth) Rogman of Centennial, CO, his grandchildren, Michelle Zabinski, Erin Rogman and Heidi (Daniel) Lehenbauer, his great grandchildren, Ashley Elizabeth and David Andrew Lehenbauer, his sister in law, Mary Zabinski of St. Charles, his nephews Edward (Ann) Zabinski and Walter Zabinski, his great nephews Eric and Adam Zabinski and his great nieces, Jana and Sasha Zabinski.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine (nee Mills).

Visitation Saturday, October 6, 2007 from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00 AM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Lutheran Home and Services, 800 W. Oakton St., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
