Jesse Daniel Kelsey was born April 28, 1915 in Chicago to Jesse D. Sr. and Katherine (nee Broderick) Kelsey. Died on October 30, 2006 in Buffalo Grove.

Dan was a senior auditor for People’s Gas Co. for over 45 years. He was a WWII veteran serving in the Navyas a Boatswain Mate 1st Class. He was a member of the Holy Name Society, a scout master, President of the People’s Gas Club, an executive volunteer for the 1965 Heart Fund Campaign and a member of the American Legion for over 50 years.

Dan is survived by children, Dean (Petra) of Fox River Grove, Susan (Sam) Fanara of Rolling Meadows and Carol Ann (Daniel) Lorenz of Wheeling, his grandchildren, Jennifer, Daniela (Joseph) Weiszhar, Michael (Sheena), Lance, Jessica and Caitlin

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne C.

Visitation from 3 until 9 PM, Thursday, November 2, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.) Arlington Heights. Prayers 9:00 AM Friday, November 3, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., to St. Tarcissus Church, 6020 W. Ardmore Ave., Chicago for Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
