Joan A. Pingry

Joan A. Pingry was born on December 12, 1933 in Chicago to Wendell L. and Georgia H. (nee Pearson) Phillips. She died Friday, October 27, 2006 at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights.

Mrs. Pingry was employed as an expeditor for Meridian Leasing Corporation in Deerfield for over ten years, until her retirement in 1999.

Joan is survived by her husband Richard L. Pingry, whom she married on September 4, 1954 in Chicago; her children Kathryn Pingry of Brookfield, James Pingry of Winona, MN, and Steven (Beth) Pingry of Naperville; her grandchildren William, Roxanne, Madeline, Angel, Michael and Jonathan; her nieces Elizabeth Gurnack; Helen Grenade and Nancy Piro and her nephew Jesse Lehman, Jr.; and her sister Jean Lehman of Clearwater. Florida.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Lowell and Russell Phillips.

Memorial Visitation from 10:00 AM until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 PM, November 11, 2006 at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (four blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a local animal shelter or to the Naperville Area Humane Society, 1620 W. Diehl Rd., Naperville, IL 60563.
